ART RAFFLE: A fundraiser for Center for Faith & the Arts
Purchasing one or more raffle tickets enters you into a drawing for big prizes.  Each ticket is $20; there is no limit to how many can be purchased; and there is no minimum number sold for the raffle to be held.  Tickets are available at Center for Faith & the Arts online. Drawing for the winners will be hold at CFA on March 31st.  Winners do not need to be present.
1st Prize:  A framed artwork from the exhibit entitled “Tranquility:  Zen-Inspired Prints”, a set of Asian and Asian-influenced prints from the Seth Holtzman Collection, now hanging in the gallery at Center for Faith & the Arts until the end of February.  The identity of the artwork will not be revealed before the drawing for the winner. You may also view the works online in the video taken of the exhibit.

2nd Prize: an unframed print from the Seth Holtzman Collection.  “The Exotic Cuisine”, by Seong Moy, is a 1963 color woodcut that measures 20”x16”, is in excellent condition, and worth about $150.   

BIO:  A native of China, Seong Moy was born in Canton on April 12, 1921 but he immigrated to the United States in 1931, settling with his family in St. Paul, Minnesota. Moy began his art studies as a teenager at the WPA Federal Art Project. He continued his art education at the St. Paul School of Art under Cameron Booth, and the WPA Graphic Workshop at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, MN.
